Linatex® rubber has been mine tested all over the world. It is made from 95% natural latex using a formula that has been unchanged for almost 100 years. We wanted to make sure that the adhesive products our mining customers use on site help them achieve their sustainability targets.
A MINING INDUSTRY FIRST
Together with the world’s number one adhesive producer Henkel and its team of LOCTITE® adhesive, sealant and coating specialists, we developed an industry-first adhesive that has the double benefit of emitting zero volatile organic compounds (VOCs) combined with bond strength far exceeding the industry standards.
SUSTAINABILITY
All LINATEX® LOCTITE® - LINA 88™ products release zero VOCs during application and help our customers reduce VOC emissions and achieve sustainability targets.
SAFETY
Our new adhesive range is solvent-free, eliminating the exposure to solvents for rubber liners. All products in the LINATEX® LOCTITE® - LINA 88™ range are classified as non-dangerous goods and are safer to use, cheaper to transport and do not require special handling and storage facilities.
BEST-IN-CLASS PERFORMANCE
The custom-formulated LINATEX® LOCTITE® - LINA 88™ cold-bonding rubber adhesive range sets a new industry benchmark for bond strength with up to four times the bond strength required in the British Standards BS6374 Part 5.
SIGNIFICANT SAVINGS
When bonding rubber to metal using LINATEX® LOCTITE® - LINA 88™ adhesive range, the rubber does not need to be buffed prior to application, saving operators time and labour. Also, only a single thick layer of the adhesive is required, eliminating the need to wait for the glue to dry between coats.
